Well, I have been dreaming to buy one of this for quite a while: researched, compared, did a lot of pros and cons and finally decided I would go for the Galaxy Tab. What made take the decision was: the outside design - I thought about buy Asus transformer but reviews said it was not so elegant. I was considering buying it also because of the extra battery keyboard, but friends conviced me that I would hardly need more than 9 hours of working on it. Also, I wanted a 3G gadget, which this one does wonderfully.There are a lot of interesting applications in the market and I am quite content with it, overall. But I must say that 1) It actually could be a bit smaller: it is bigger than a book, and that makes it difficult to hold while eating, for example (ok, you may say it is not healthy to read while having lunch, but then again, this is my review ;). 2) I do miss having more battery. Because sometimes I forget to charge it at night and find myself without battery during the day.I am happy I bought it 3G though - I was afraid it wouldn't work with a normal SIM card but it actually worked pretty well, just out of the box. And because there are several places here that you don't have wi-fi, it is useful to have a tablet that can connect to internet no matter where you are. I did not give it 5 stars because of my own frustation and not because of the tablet. Hope this is useful.

I was looking for a case for my T-Mobile MyTouch 4G. I wouldn't be using it often so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I took a chance on this case. I expected cheap, as in quality, but that is not what I received. This is a very nice case and I am very happy with my purchase. The phone fits very nicely in the case which is lined with a soft material. The case in general feels like it will do a very good job protecting my phone from all of the bad things that can happen when something is strapped to my hip.

2012 called. It said it wanted it's triple duty device. Kept saying that it wanted a phone, a tablet and a notepad all in one or else.....Luckily, Samsung answered.The mobile phone / tablet market seems to be heading towards touchscreen only devices, styluses not included. Market leaders seem to have forgotten that some of us like to "write" instead of type. By limiting their input methods, they're forcing us to adapt to them, not making their products adapt to us. The Galaxy Note is a product that goes in the opposite direction. It allows you the flexibility to use it the way you want, whether you prefer to type, write or touch.I've purchased it unlocked and since I bought it, I leave my cell phone and tablet at home. I no longer need to carry them round. It was a hassle carrying around my tablet + a stylus for writing notes, my laptop for all the other stuff and a cellphone to make calls. The Galaxy Note replaced my tablet and cell phone in one easy swoop, with no adjustment issues. I still carry my laptop though ( for more demanding work)As a product, to me. the Note makes perfect sense. A 1280 x 800 resolution(285 pixels per inch - high pixel density) 5.3 inch SuperAMOLED screen ( bright, colorful, sharp ), makes The Note the perfect size for for quickly jotting down notes as well as carrying with you. Like the excellent, well-written review by Juwan I. Hayward, I also ordered this from Clove Technology in the UK because I didn't want to wait for it. I had not anticipated that I would be able to get it so soon from a vendor via Amazon (with the exchange rate, it cost me a little more than $100 more than it can be purchased here). Of all of the many gadgets and phones I have owned in the past 30 years, this is by far the best and most superior gadget I have had the privilege of owning and using. It really is a perfect mini-computer. I could conceivably eliminate most of my other gadgets and just use this device. It is small enough to put in most pockets (especially jacket or pants).I go nowhere without it. It is superfast, with a beautiful screen. I use it for playing music, playing games, reading Kindle and ePub books, reading and editing documents, taking notes, surfing the web (in addition to the excellent Android Browser, I love the Dolphin Browser and even occasionally use Firefox for Android), reading news feeds from Pulse and News360, checking Facebook and Google+, taking candid pictures (it also has a good-quality front-facing camera for video chats, which I have yet to use), and all of the many other things one does on today's smartphones and tablets. Other than the user manual being only in Spanish and the device being preset to Spanish and the inclusion of a superfluous plug that goes to who-knows-what, I'm quite satisfied so far. I've not yet had to deal with their customer service department so I can not comment on that.Being a long time user of Android I had little trouble navigating to the settings menu to change the language. But I'm pretty sure there is a YouTube video that graphically shows you how to do it.EDIT: I notice my review has somehow been reposted under a sale of the same unit by a different company. I didn't realize this was something Amazon would do. The one I bought was through "WorldWide Distributors", NOT whatever my review is posted under. I guess since they have a separate page for seller reviews one must now always ignore statements in reviews that pertain to any dealing with the seller. This is a bad policy, a very bad policy. Many reviewers have made the same mistake I have but giving certain sellers horrible reviews on otherwise excellent products. Imagine the people looking at those reposted on a good sellers page, thus giving the impression that an excellent seller is a crappy one. Maybe seasoned Amazonians are already aware of this, but how long does it take the average new user to catch on and ignore opinions about sellers in the product review? I'll bet it's enough to really hurt the sales for some good companies.

I confirmed with Samsung representatives after calling in and verifying with them the product serial number on the phone I received that there is no such thing as a International Warranty with this phone.I promptly returned it.This is false advertisement and needs to be changed.Phone is great, but the fact that I paid extra for non-existent warranty is not.

Pros: you get a powerful laptop for a sweet price, works fine and the new software and options with Windows 7 are fun to useCons: the chassis isn't well made nor is the keyboard, it's a good laptop for you to hookup a mouse and keyboard and monitor to and use it at home while being able to take it out occasionally, but a highly mobile person on the move might want to get something more sturdy - the lid on mine is already kinda loose

Just received the phone and have not used it enough yet to review everything. The phone itself should be great, had good reviews on the web. I gave it four stars because of these things:1- It's made in china.2- You need to have nails to open the battery cover. You need to push and hold down the release then pull off the cover using other finger's nail. I hate that3- It does not have US English.4- It's not a US version neither a European version. It's Asian version.It has all Asian languages, but no US English or European language.5- it does not pick up 4G on tmobile, just 3G.

Soon there will be more than 30 million people jammed inside that box, lol! For third year in a row, not me! There's a real world outside that box and cannot be more of the same every year. I was amazed by tab 7.7 usefull features that i can even use it as a phone while its being a tablet, lot of things u can do to personalized. Super Amoled Plus is really more superior than retina, i took an Iphone 4S & Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket in broad daylight at the beach, Amoled is hands down superior. What the other dont have: 16x9 HD screen format, hot swappable SD card, Phone-Data or both, Unlocked format from the factory, thats freedom! 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz a/b/g/n wifi frequency, 2Megapix front camera(not vga like the revolutionry tablet lol), 5.1 surround audio, customizable equalizer. No wander Samsung got sued in Germany to block the release of this little killer earlier this year. This is totally unacceptable and I can't believe that you would try to sell this to someone.. The box came with no tape (wide open on both ends) the box wasn't made for this product.. The phone has been opened and writing on the box and it said NEW on the add and this wasn't new.. I was and am totally upset about this... What a junk Service and bad way to treat people..I want a call from someone that CARES AT AMAZON and someone that is high enough to make a difference...ASAPPatrick

The Galaxy Note is an amazing device. I was unsure when read some of reviews re bigger size. When I received this phone, I loved it immediately. The size is certainly bigger than my previous phone, Galaxy Nexus ( which is a very amazing phone as well) I got the Note because I wanted a phone, tablet etc in one device and this DOES IT ALL. Folks, I have also had every iPhone out there and, sorry Apple, you,have lost my business to the Galaxy family. Way ahead of iphone in every way. BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER. If you are looking for a device that can replace everything else, THIS IS IT. I purchased an unlocked version because of my travel needs and it was pricey but very much worth it for me. If you are looking at it, get it now. Very slick in all ways. The S-pen and S -memo are very usefull too. Not just a toy feature. Only negative that I have and have also heard is the surface camera lens. Could have been better designed but lets face it, when was last time you had a phone without a protective skin. I put a $6.00 gel cover and no more worries.Thanks Samsung for,developing this great device. And yes, I still call it a PHONE.

Good ... I am interested in buying the product but would like to know which team is working bands to see if an official in my country with my carrier of choice ... Also find out if they are T-Mobile? I am very interested in the team so I would appreciate your prompt response

Ok, so we have the Kindle and Nook at the lower range, say $139 to start; the iPad at the $499 range and now the Galaxy Tab @ $900 +. The Galaxy has great features based on Android and the Samsung strategic development path is right on and consumer friendly. I don't understand why this Version (International) comes with No Warranty. Gee, given what Google is going to do with Editions, this device would be outstanding.....if I could only get this device in a WiFi only version.
